The concept of brain death has drawn attention after successful organ trasplantation procedures. Early diagnosis and proper treatment regarding organ protection in patients to be donors would increase the success rate at transplatation procedures. in this article diagnostic criteria f or brain death and supportive diagnostic methods to provide early diagnosis have been discussed.
